After a college career which included NCAA golf, Beau received his degree from the University of Illinois and began work on the radio in Champaign, Illinois. His musical knowledge and quick wit eventually led him north to Chicago, where he helped WCKG-FM become the nations most popular classic rock station.

Led by a childhood dream, he packed up for sunny Southern California in the late 80's to test L.A. radio and whatever Hollywood had to offer. Within his first week on L.A.'s Classic Rocker 97.1 KLSX, legendary "Morning Man" Frazer Smith had helped Beau land his first Hollywood agent. Using his abilities as a golfer, Beau booked his first television commercial, (Coors Light) on his very first audition! More commercials, as well as roles in films and television would follow. In the meantime, Beau's radio career was exploding, eventually leading to his anchoring the coveted spot as Host of the nationally syndicated "Rockline", as well as the afternoon drive slot at KLSX at the same time! He would also deliver a weekly rock special to Nack 5 in Tokyo, as well as do over 1,000 shows for Westwood One Networks. In addition, Beau provided his one of a kind voice to numerous commercials and programs, including Star Search.

The brightest spots in Beau's life continue to be his amazing wife Brynn and his two incredible children, Nick and Sammantha. Together they all share a beautiful "country life" in southwest Florida with the family dogs, Smokey and Lola.
